Hardware suite
dNode hardware,
adapted to your case
dNode is our hardware family. We adapt the firmware and put your brand on the device, so it fits what you sell.
Three dNode models
All three read energy data and send it to your cloud. They differ in which protocols they support and what they can connect to. The Omni also has more processing power.

P1
Reads the energy meter through the P1/HAN port, and the meter powers it. LoRa is an option, so it also works where Wi-Fi does not reach.
- HAN port: DSMR, DLMS and M-Bus
- RS-485: Modbus RTU
- Wi-Fi, and LoRa 868–915 MHz as an option
- Powered from the P1 port or USB-C

X1
The P1 hardware with expansion cards. Use it when a site has more than one resource to connect.
- Everything the P1 reads
- Expansion cards for more connectivity
- USB host
- Modbus, OCPP and SunSpec

Omni
The largest of the three, and the one with the most processing power. It runs control on the device itself, and keeps a connection to the cloud for monitoring and updates.
- Ethernet, Wi-Fi and LTE with GPS
- HAN port and RS-485
- Multiple USB-C, and USB host
- Load balancing that runs on site
These are the standard models. Tell us what the device has to talk to, and we will point you at the right one to start from.
Built on the suite
dNode Switch
dNode Switch is our own product on dNode hardware. It runs on the Omni. Every minute it reads the meter and reports consumption to E.ON's Switch flexibility market, and a portal shows the state of every device. We built the firmware and the portal around that one job.
