The X1 shares the P1 hardware and adds expansion cards. Use it where a site has several resources to read and one device should handle them all.
Several resources on one device
RS-485, the HAN port and the expansion cards let one X1 read the meter, the chargers and the inverters on the same site.
Speaks the protocols on site
Modbus, OCPP and SunSpec, so chargers, batteries, inverters and meters can all report through the same device.
Managed from where you are
Configuration and firmware updates run remotely, so a change does not need a site visit.
